Welcome to our Barn Wedding Venue

Tall Oaks Barn is a family owned and operated event venue located in the beautiful countryside of Jersey County, IL. We have worked hard to restore our charming farmhouse, original bank barn, and surrounding property. We believe our venue is the perfect place to have your special day! When you’re at the farm, everything is a little more peaceful, a little more relaxed, and a lot more enjoyable. We have beautiful views of the land, the lake, and the most amazing sunsets in the Midwest. We have created a unique space for the important moments in your life and we specialize in making sure all the details are just right.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

The physical location of your wedding is almost as important as the venue aesthetics! Tall Oaks Barn is an easy and scenic drive no matter which direction you’re traveling from. We are conveniently located just 3.6 miles off of I-255 between Godfrey and Brighton, IL. We are just 45 minutes from St. Louis, MO and Litchfield, IL, 30 minutes from Edwardsville, IL and Carrollton, IL, and within 20 minutes of most places in between. There are hotel accommodations in both Alton and Jerseyville, IL for out of town guests and we are just 40 minutes from Lambert International Airport!

“We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Tall Oaks Barn in the spring of 2021 and there is no other place in our area that can compare, in my opinion. I loved absolutely everything about our experience. We were allowed ample time for setting up and decorating so I did not feel rushed at all. I was able to enjoy every moment. Having our ceremony and reception at the same location/venue was IDEAL and mentioned over and over by our guests, who appreciated not having to travel or waste time to start enjoying the festivities! Our guests were able to begin enjoying beverages and the nacho bar we provided while we were getting photos taken and mingling. Our guests absolutely enjoyed the country atmosphere, and our decorations and details pulled everything together perfectly to make it the wedding of our dreams. We are available for phone calls 9am-7pm and emails anytime. We typically book tours on Saturday mornings but can work with your schedule if that’s not an option!
